Tyler Clite's Brickworld Display

AKA "Legohaulic" brings us this monster diorama, based on the third "Matrix" film which he revealed at Brickworld last weekend. Unfortunately, there is no gallery to link to at this time. Tyler says, " Pictures just don't do this justice, It was made to be seen in person. Next year...get your butt to Brickworld. "

His APU also won "best mecha":

Venus Mantrap

I finally built something I thought it worthwhile to upload to Next-Gen and post on here.

In the late 21st century, an effort to terraform the moon went terribly wrong, flooding the atmosphere with high levels of Carbon Dioxide. This greatly encouraged plant life, even in the most rocky terrain, while proving dangerous to animal and human life. As plants grew in both size and range, any mutant breeds came into being. This small group of survivors has run afoul of one such specimen.

Pepik's "Future Space Etc"

Brickshelf user Pepik brings us a nice future oil well fire. But we all know it's Post-Apoc. Actually, one of the reasons I like this so much is because it feels like late-90's Lego. Both of the vehicles seem to have almost a Rock Raiders kind of feel to them. Anyway, just enjoy!

<.<
In other news...I am about to blog something that is not Lego. It is in fact cheese. Yes. I am blogging a MOC that is made out of cheese. There's a first for everything. Yes, I'm serious. Every once in a while there are people on Flickr that add me as their contacts and don't build with Lego. They're either predators (just kidding) or other hobbyists. Curis seems to be into a mixture of things, but I wouldn't have thought he'd be into cheese. Sure enough, though, he is. Here we have Curis going to the local store to buy materials:

Just like most of us would use Bricklink, Curis buys his cheese in large quantities at the best price. Next he begins cutting the cheese:

Not figuratively, but literally. Eventually he shapes it out into what he invisions.

He'll add a few extras, like the red highlights, and the flaming fireballs (which are made from a different type of cheese). And now it's done!

Okay, I'm hungry for a cheesestick. Go ahead and view the rest in his photostream (link at the top of the photos).

Another kind of Post-Apoc

brickshelf "uruklutz" (which I am NOT! :O) has a really cool post- apoc- ish diorama. Check out nifty details like:
Broken Street
Wicked Minifigs
Cool junk beside the building

Jacob
Occasional driving force of the blog, self-proclaimed Lukas fanboy, and aspiring engineer, Jacob spends too much time building LEGO, not enough time practicing piano, and not nearly enough time doing school. He also enjoys long sentences. In the instance of blogging, he believes in quantity over quality, wherever quantity can be maintained.
Mike
One of the cofounders of YSAB, and the founder of YSA, Observing Mike actually being productive is a rare occasion. Mike enjoys making outlandish claims in relation to actually building, pretending he's actually sorting his collection, and making excuses for why he hasn't photographed his MOCs. In his free time he enjoys learning CSS from Spook, photography and poking badgers with spoons.
Dean
Occasional builder, occasional blogger, and full-time procrastinator. That's really the only way to describe Dean. He rarely gets anything done, but is a very active lurker. He's probably seen and liked your MOC, but just forgot he had a blog.
Erik
Erik is still a teenager.
Lukas
Lukas is tall, blond, mildly OCD, and doesn't build nearly enough as he would like to, thanks to school. He has a webpage.
Spook (Tim)
The resident codemonkey and graphics person. If something isn't working correctly, it's probably his fault. Fitting to his name, he doesn't post often, but someone has to do this stuff too, right? Spook does build with laygoes, and has his own blog as well.
